Amongst the ruins, we pray without aim
Fallacious efforts beyond all sustain
Repeating cycles
Of dismay
Repeating cycles
Meet shallow ends
We stare through scaffolds;
Defunct monoliths of yore
Watching the passing
Of an age
Watching the passing
Of all redeeming hope
All hope squandered
And so we pine for our defeat
Self realised and crowned obsolete
Phasing towards innumerate forms
Through onset mass cerebal rot
Demise encouraged openly
Global death cults in all but name
Overloaded with wires fixed to implode
As we spectate our own downfall
Our last days
End in sight
Growing pyres
Our last days
Embrace of
Extinction
We’re left to waltz into our graves
Our last days
End in sight
Growing pyres
Our last days
Embrace of
Extinction
Heaviest thing I’ve heard all year along with Altarage. Okay I’ve been listening to this record for the past two weeks and it just gets better and better. Dissonant grooves galore Jacob Ballance
An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
I wouldnt call it blackened death but it certainly has the bleak dark atmosphere akin to Akhlys or Watain while pummeling you with pure death metal and a touch of dissonance and doominess á la Morbid Angel..it really combines almost everything i love about metal and theres not a weak spot on here..their first album was good but this is stylistically much different and a vast improvement. Queefer Sutherland
Channeling philosophical quandaries into cavernous death metal, the Australian trio turn modern power struggles into an aural advantage. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 13, 2022
If you told me that Dischordia shared members with Dysrhythmia I'd believe it without checking. Angular, dissonant constructions that give no fucks about human enjoyment. I need more. Ghuughra
