I discovered Dúnmharú by looking into one of the member's other project, Scáth Na Déithe, which I love. And this album doesn't disappoint a bit!
Riffs and melodies are carefully used, shyly showing themselves before disappearing into gloomy fogs of growling guitars, long enough to be kind of forgotten, and only to come back with more strength and emotion in a melancholic final. Haunting! Grigou
Absolutely classic-to-the-core, straight to the point in the vein of early 2000's Dark Funeral and Naglfar, with some Cruelty era CoF thrown in. Nostalgic as all fuck, and I love it. xaphanapraxia
An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
Scalding lo-fi metal from RodtGod that puts a premium on immediacy and brutality, with terrifically bracing results. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 12, 2022
If you told me that Dischordia shared members with Dysrhythmia I'd believe it without checking. Angular, dissonant constructions that give no fucks about human enjoyment. I need more. Ghuughra
